Poetry

Phantasy

I saw a beautiful damsel
dressed up to the nines Her swooshing air of elegance Flaming the flame of desire. In her flaming red dress She is a vision Of enchanted eroticism, Begging to be ravaged. I want to rip the dress off her And have her nude beneath me Under a star-studded night To appease my surging erection. I want to devour her cheery lips Make her eyes Smoulder with wants To quell my burning passion I want to rock her body Make her quiver and quake With fervent touches and ardent kisses. I want an unforgettable All night wake of passion With this beautiful damsel. Who palpitate my heart.
I want her moans of pleasure music of her delirious orgasm To suffuse my ears Until dawn awakes.

Lyrics of lies

Without shame, they frame lies.
They promise us prosperity
But give us poverty.

They promise us change
But have us in chains
And watch us writhe in pain.

They’ve come again
With their lyrics of lies,
And speeches
full of bombastic rhetoric.

People Deceiving People
Afflicting Pain on citizens
In the quest to grab power.

We are wiser now,
And will not dance
To their lyrics of lies.

With God and intentionality
We will labour
To take back our country.

Shattered heart.

My heart was delivered

To the wrong address

To the wrong man.

And I watched my heart

Shattered into

A thousand pieces.

The bane of a woman.

Hush woman

Rise not above your benchmark

Your life is not yours to direct

Always under a man’s dicta

First, your father

Then your husband

The bane of a woman

Resist, you’re branded

a wayward.

Complain, you’re called

An ingrate

Fight for your right

You’re labelled

A feminist.

Hush woman

You can be seen

A decorated ornament

Admired and praised

When you stay within

Your allotted allotment

Relegated to the kitchen

And the other room.

Hailed in the bedroom

Disparaged in the boardroom

Ranked among babes

And children

The bane of a woman.

Your mouth is gagged

With laws and rules

Your brain manacled

With cultural shackles

Your hands tied

With traditional tier

The bane of a woman.

Hush woman

Rub not your shoulders

with men, no matter the age

They are not your equals

You’re the receptacle

Of a man’s vile side

Raped and blamed

Bullied and browbeaten

Into subjugation.

The bane of a woman.

A woman is,

In the world of a man

Fickle and shallow

A rootless reed

Denied inheritance

In your father’s house, cos’

You’re married out

Denied inclusion in your

Husband’s house, cos’

You’re brought in, a stranger.

Push woman

The tide has changed

Time to break the yoke

Of prejudice

Of intimidation.

Of dominance that holds

you captive.

When you owe yourself

Discover yourself

Believe in yourself

Improve and prove yourself

Love and uphold each other

Then, you can fight for each other

There’s strength in unity.

Making of a writer.

The making of a writer

'Tis a task

A solo journey

Self-inflicted burden

The avalanche of emotions

The anxiety,

The heart race

The adrenaline rush

The groping for a firm hold

The uncertainty of usage

The pruning of orthogonal

The cutting of extraneous

The  joining of syntax

The search for correctness

The check for errors

The self-doubts

The pouring out of words

A vaporific cloud of activities

That coalesce into written work.

Pronto! You’re a writer.

Self-pride (acrostic poem)

She laughs, her tickling voice

Ensnaring my heart

Lust stronger than any I ever feel

Flowing through my veins

Pulling me towards her, a fire

Roaring in my groin.

Inundating my mind with amatory vibes

Desire soaring to unbearable heights

Emaciating my control.

Boogie-woogie

Love, a bolt

From outer space

Explodes like a bombshell.

The reverberant heat

makes the heart

Dance boogie-woogie.

Memories.

Years have gone by since you were

Wrenched from my side.

Tossed in the river of sorrow

I rocked hither and thither,

A sole dancer on the

Heaving sea of vicissitude

The murmuring voice of the waves

Waves of anguish and grief, my music.

But countless happy memories of you

My anchor from the mire of despair.

Unforgettable memories

Of how we joked and poked

Fought and made love

Sat and planned for our future

A future you no longer feature

Given a choice,

You would have loved to roll

in the hay of life

Not in the earth's underbelly.

Though, swallowed by the grave

In my heart engraved

Indelible memories of you.

Through the lonely days and years,

Your voice echoed in my heart

Where it’s embedded.

Though no longer visible,

Forever, you’re invincible.

A shining star,

whose beam obliterated suddenly

But not effaced from a heart

That loved you.

Where your memories are etched

A sun that set at high noon

Into eternal sleep,

A flower never allowed to full bloom

But the seeds you planted in hearts

Sprouted and blossomed

Into a verdant verdure of love.

The sweet fragrance

Lingering memories of your existence.

New love

New love, an intoxicant

sweet wine to sip

It inebriates.

Adrenaline spirt

That fills you up

With high spirit.

New love glitters

a diamond in a sunset

Its refulgent beam

Make senses blurry

New love, the brain

It messes,

with a chemical infusion

That confounds the heart.

With new love

Emotion ripples

a rising wave

Its whooshing sound

Deafens the ears

New love

Washes away debris

of old pains.

The way a woman

Forgets the pains of

labour while beholding

Her newborn.

In the euphoria

Of a new love

A new lover

The glittery and sparkling

Of brand newness

Lodge a log in the eyes.

And blind the eyes to see.

Valentine Day (acrostic poem)

Valentine, a season for lovers

A day set in vibrant colours

Love and romance resonate

Enthusiasm palpable in the air

No one wants to miss the day

The drama and the funfair

Injecting ebullience in heart

Nurturing lust to brimful

Enlivening  passion to heat

Driving some to reckless deeds

All in a bid to join a seasonal

Yield of madness.

Acrimony

Acrimony,

Breaks the melody of the soul

Unhinge the love that held the heart

And leave it to welter in shock

Laden with swirls of grief

That benumbs the body

The pains it brings

Acerbate the soul.

The mind groggy,

With trauma.

Heart swings wildly,

a pendulum,

under the gravity of disbelief.

Uncertainty,

 occludes the senses

 pains drivel from the soul.

Emotions, strewn about

Like petals after a storm,

The heart, blown apart,

by the wind of misery

Transpierced and shattered

A marionette with broken strings

Fling aside by her puppeteer,

Rejected and dejected.

Bitterness like a swollen

spring walls up.

Heart swirling,

a washing machine

In perpetual motion,

Mind stuck in a loop

Tattered emotion

Teetering on the fringe

Of mental meltdown.

The soul bleeds in acrimony.

Love is not for fools

Mind numbed,

Insensitive to sensation,

Eyes swimming in rivers

of tears.

I tried to berth

My bout of depression.

And mourn years of loving

gone to waste

I bewail the pain

It leads to no gain

Every disappointment

They say,

A blessing in disguise.

A love, once my happiness

Now my sorrow.

A baffling crossroads

How the sweetness of a love

Turns sourly in a twinkle.

Was I played for a fool?

A fool for love.

Was there ever a love?

The profession of love

Wasn’t it a charade?

A heartless facade of emotion

A supposedly happy ride

Into a fool’s paradise

The bumps and curves

A lighthouse lost

To a misguided heart

A fool in love.

My heart I guarded not

And,  love made a fool of me

My eyes, though open

Love sealed my sight

It’s but a lesson taught

Though the hard way

Love is not for fools

But a handy tool

To manipulate the foolish.

Organic Love

From the floodgate of your heart,

Came flooding of love

An outpouring of passion,

Cascading over me.

Wrapping me as in a cocoon.

Dunking me in your love

Your organic love.

Your presence, a bequeathed gift

Your words sent my heart aflutter

With its drip of sweetness.

Your love enmeshed my heart

Sheltered in your sweet entrapment

I nestled inside your nest of love

Your organic love

You’re my burst of colour

A rainbow of exquisite colours.

With your electric aura

You flipped my light switch

From off to on position.

And lighted up my world

I’m blinded by your love

Which bore no lust,

But full of organic love.

My affection for you

It’s without synthetic aesthetics.

My passion for you,

It’s not an ersatz ecstasy

My feeling for you

It’s unalloyed

My actions are reverberant

validation

Of my organic love.

Soul mates

Our soul came in two bodies.

The universe strung our

paths to meet

And journey together

Forever in a deep mixture

of love, passion, friendship

and more.

As we take adventures into

each other’s universe

to commingle into oneness

and share one soul.

Our bodies united

to form one soul.

One soul, one life

in togetherness.

Our eyes glittery with

Passion and yearning

are fixed on us often.

As we become soulmates

in this life and thereafter.

Making memories.

When our heart web
With strings of pure love
And our souls find paths
Of harmonious intersection.
Our soul energies flow,
Mingling and intermingling
in endless possibilities.
We make memories.

Creating our world
Making our realities
From our dreams
Giving all that’s in us
Love, our mystical keys
To unlock our vault of passions
As we make memories.

Though divine souls, we are not
In us is the plague of humanity.
We will soar high
Above every limiting wind
that holds us down
To a heavenly bliss,
on wings of love
And paint the sky
With our memories.

Emotions of love

Love, a two-edged sword
It cuts and cures
Either way,
Its emotion is seismal.

In its embryogenesis,
It begets bliss.
Ethereal bliss
An idyllic paradise,

Love, a spectrum of colours
The beam, so bright it blinds
The beauty, so eloquent it attracts.
The taste, so rich it intoxicates.
An enchanting petal
With a stem of thorns.

Love, a furnace of passion
That radiates heat
Hot enough to melt a heart.
Or scorch a body.
Love, a phantasmal word
Nurtured in the heart.

Our love, a poetry

Our love an endless poetry

As we cruise through the lines,

Of this poem, we will become

United than unity.

Our hearts rhyming in accord

Always us, we and ours.

The plots of our love,

To expose us to the other

The verses of our love

Beholding me in you

Beholding you in me

Formless, fluid and steady

We flow, into forever+

Our sealed parts

Transcending from our

Deepest souls into our

uncovered parts, unashamed.

Without fear or limits.

Emotion in motion

Love, an empty emotion
When not in engagement,
Inertial without motion.

It takes two to walk in love
It takes two to work at love
It takes two to agree about love
It takes two to exercise love.

Love, a refulgent emotion
Radiant when in motion,
Motion, the fulcrum of love
The emotion of love efflorescent
When it’s mutual.

Family

It is called family

But not only the familiarity Which breeds fraternity That keeps a family together. It is called family But being part of the brood, Which bonds with blood That keeps a family together It is called family When members bond, Like sticks of broom, Not easily broken When laced as a whole, And none to play the mole Keeps a family together It is called family Where unity is a hood, The taproot Of a family stronghold, United a family holds Divided a family folds. Entwined hearts Keep a family together. It is called family Blood connection Put you in the family fold But love, care, brotherhood, Keep you within the fold. That keeps a family together It is called family Though, family dynamism It’s not by a consortium But member’s consort, Of heartiness and affability Keeps a family together. It is called family But members are individuals Formed by the same process Not endowed with the same Abilities and power Unite in diversity. Dignity and integrity

keeps a family together.

Making Love

Making love as an act of love gives satiation

A feeling of fulfilment that is long-lasting

An upliftment of body and soul to a higher realm

Making love for fun gives pleasure

An effervescent pleasure that soon fizzy out

Leaving body and soul in disharmony

If there’s a connection,

Making love becomes a beautiful, sweet adventure.

If there’s no connection,

Making love becomes an exercise in carnality.

When affection is the motion,

Making love exalt the senses

When the affection of love is not harmonious,

Making love becomes an expectation

Without reciprocation

When love is the driving emotion,

Making love becomes a mutual ride into bliss land.

Where each thrust is a blade of ecstasy

When the emotion of love is long gone,

Making love turns from endearing to enduring

If making love is not of a consensual accord,

It becomes a soulless gyratory to orgasm

An exhibit of sexiness that lacks lovesomeness

Making love transcends physical co-joining

When it’s a genuine connection with the right person.

It becomes a linking of the body and soul

In sublime intimacy.

And makes it a journey into the empyrean sphere

Where love, passion, and affection are the creeds.

Superwoman

I stand tall and do not slouch In the face of adversities I brace all odds The everyday battle to survive It takes strength not to give up. At the weight of responsibilities, When faced with irrealities, I embrace realism, ‘cos I’m a superwoman. I chose to mingle and giggle Though toasted and roasted With the doom and gloom of living In a world cold and cruel. The minutiae of the day to day grind Takes its toll on my emotions I buckled not and wobbled not Or be overwhelmed, ‘cos I’m a superwoman. Though I sway in the wind Of uncertainties I will keep keeping on Strong, and steady to duel with The intrigues of life's intricacies Though the storm tossed me Up and down, a Yo-Yo in The hand of fate. Cyclonic events may falter my steps Send fears to singe my heart I face my fears, And come out stronger, ‘cos I’m a superwoman. I have walked through the furnace Of afflictions Scorched by the fire of betrayal, Beaten by unexpected rain of losses Hugged by loneliness and sadness, The heatings only liquified me Like water that has no shape But fits into any host I adapted to all situations, ‘cos I’m a superwoman.

I believe in love

I believe love is phenomenal
It heightens the senses.
I believe love is luminous
It gives light to life
Where love freely reigns
So, I believe in love.

I believe love is pure and honest
With genuine intentions,
I believe love brings happiness
It is the nectar of life
Where love is freely given.
So, I believe in love.

I believe love is all sweetness
I believe the sourness
Comes from a human tainting
I believe love has no sorrow
I believe the pains
Is because of human imperfection
So, I believe in love.

I believe love is humane.
I believe our contempt should
be for humans
Who lack humaneness
And treat love with contemptuousness.
I believe in the certainty of love
I believe the uncertainty of love
It’s due to man’s frail humanity
So, I believe in love.

I believe love is fair
I believe love is not wicked
I believe the unfairness
And the wickedness,
It’s because of human’s twisted heart.
So, I believe in love.

I believe in the eternity of love,
I believe in the ethereality of love
I believe in the divinity of love,
I believe in the genuineness of love,
Though, human interpretation
Bastardise the concept of love
Still. I believe in love.

Happy New Year (acrostic poem)

He walked with halting steps

Along the bustling street,

Perturbed and disturbed,

Pondering on why it happened

Yet, the answer eluded him

Never had he imagined it

Emotions clogged his heart

Wraithlike he walked on.

Yielding not to the raving memories.

Effortfully resisting the memorabilia,

And acceding not to the emotions

Rioting in his heart.

Merry Christmas

The frenzy of the festivity
A sweet aroma, scintillating,
The land ablaze in colours
Of the season, glittery, sparkly
Merriment oozes in the air,
Music blares from shops and
Malls in tandem with the
Shopper’s merry mood.

As we make merry
Let’s jolly along
And never forget
The joy of Christmas
Is not in the present
But in His presence.
Let His goodness resounds
in our hearts,
As the joy of the season
Resonates around us.

Embrace all with love
In this season of joy,
Gift peace to all humankind.
Drop all worry, make merry
It’s the season of joy
The ambience, the merriment,
A seasonal jamboree
Of goodness and goodwill.

The good tidings of Christmas

There in the manger
He lies, a baby
The hay his cradle
A child born in
A lowly state,
From a heavenly realm,
He descends on earth
Bringing with him
The good tidings
Of Christmas.

Above, angles hover
In a joyful mood, they carry
The announcement of
His joyful birth to
The shepherds who forgathered
Under a hill, in the chill,
Of the night.
Off to the stable, they hurry
To bear witness
To the good tidings
Of Christmas.

The pronouncement
Joy to the world,
A king is born today
Resounds from generation
To generation
Unending ripples,
That stir the hearts
Of men and women
Of goodwill,
To the good tidings
Of Christmas.

It is a joy to the world
For a child that is born
The light of the world
Let this light penetrate our hearts
Make us ambassadors of peace
Joy and goodwill to the world
As we celebrate,
The good tidings
Of Christmas.

Each new day.

Life is a gift to each new day
I’m grateful for every breath
For each new day that dawn
I’m grateful to watch
The sun rises in its splendour
To start its day’s journey
For each eventide, that set
I’m grateful to gaze
At the brilliance of the moon
In full bloom,
As it rises over the horizon
And the twinkling stars
On a starry night.

I bask in the newness
Of each new day,
With a heart full of gratitude
And a mouth full of praises
For His mercies,
He renews every morning
His awesomeness
Is without equation
His gifts without blemish,
His daily dose of blessings
Always brimful.
Each new day, bequeath us
Another opportunity
To start life anew.

Lost love

Lush hair

Curvaceous figure

His heart revved

Emotions stirred

Unleashing a lash

Of painful thoughts.

He remembered

Her pizazz,

Her whimsical smiles

His heart thumped

Emotions swirling

A painful reminder.

He sighed

Emotions unhinged

At the remembrance,

Of a girl

Once loved

But lost.

Product of Grace

(1)

When I wandered through the valley of confusion.

Grace found me and gave me direction

Through sickness and near-death experiences

Grace kept and upheld me.

When I struggle with self-doubts,

Grace sustained me.

When my life was empty and low

Grace filled me to the overflow.

I’m proudly the product of grace

(2)

When burdened by distress and sorrow

Grace held me up

When the tide of loneliness

Threatened to overwhelm me

Grace buoyed me up

When darkness assailed me,

Grace lighted my path

When confronted with a calamity,

Grace comforted me.

I’m proudly the product of grace

(3)

Climbing through the hill of difficulties

Grace was my foothold

Swimming through the waves and storms of life,

Grace was my anchorage and stronghold

When I wallow in lack,

Grace's abundance kept me

When I fell into a vortex of despair,

Grace lifted me out.

When I panted from the heaviness of heart,

Grace consoled me.

I’m proudly the product of grace.

(4)

Grace put together

The broken pieces of my life

Grace healed the wounds in my heart

Grace gave me faith

And taught me how to trust again

Grace gave me the leverage

To live each day with gratitude.

His grace, always sufficient for me

At all times, and in every situation

I’m proudly the product of grace.

Celebration of age

I wear my age like a garland

My grey hairs my crown of glory

My wrinkles, my testimonies,

Of battles fought and won.

My aches and pains

Tributes to the toils of life

I have run the circle once more

I celebrate and appreciate my life

Grateful I’m healthy and strong

Life is a forward march,
Like a river, it never flows backwards
I march forward along the line
Of my life course, my calling
Through open lands of success
Up hills and valleys of afflictions
Down the marshland of difficulties
I celebrate and appreciate my life
Grateful I’m still in the race.

Love supplication

(1)
My body tingles with sensation
As I feel the pull of attraction,
I cannot mask my admiration
So I sought expression
Of my love intention,
And get steep in frustration
At your lack of attention
You have become my obsession
For I love you to distraction
Put my feelings into consideration
Let me be worthy of your appreciation.
(2)
My love is without approximation
I do not want an ovation
Only your recognition
My love for you is not for publication
Only for your heart’s rendition
I need an opportunity for declaration
To show you our hearts are in unification
For this journey of loving jollification.
(3)
You’re my temptation
The object of my affixation
As I watch your loveliness in fascination
I realise you’re beautiful beyond estimation
And endows to perfection,
Your comeliness sets my heart to palpitation
O median full of sweet attribution
On knees bend in supplication,
I plead for my love gratification.
(4)
If you seek validation,
That, my love, is not only for affectation
I pray for divine illumination
To give you a clear elucidation
My love is not to your heart’s devastation
But to your heart’s edification.
(5)
Your place in my heart is not in contention
You are the dot of connection
That strings my body with anticipation
Please give me your affirmation
In your rumination,
Let me be your consideration
I wait in apprehension
Hoping for no opposition
To stop my heart’s jubilation.

Beyond dreams.

You’re the man who haunts my dreams,
Existing only in my imagination
Now, you walked into my life
My man in designer suit
In your presence, my fears dissolved.
My inhibitions melted like wax
Your touch resurrected my dead passion
Your words restored my hope
Made me feel true love is real.
This feeling you induced
It’s beyond dreams.

Your gentleness ripples
A cool spring over my heated heart
The love in your eyes
Mesmerised me to a dazzle stupor
The touch of your hands
Elicited volcanoes of passion
You kissed me, the nectar of your lips
A sweetness beyond honey
This feeling you induced
It’s beyond dreams.

Your love bestirred my life
You strung the strings of my heart,
With words, sweet, melodious words.
My heart fluttered at the thought of you
Your presence capsulise
Happiness and fulfilment
This feeling you induced
It’s beyond dreams.

Write when you can

Some days, the words flow,
Some other days, the words trickle.
Some days, the words dry up.
When they flow, write.
When they trickle, write.
When they dry, relax,
Write when you can
Words will surely come
As long as you have
A word bank craft.

No, to S.A.R.S

For so long, we have endured
Crept along the valley of humiliation
In our dear mother’s land,
Treated like bandits and vagabonds
Killed without recourse,
For so long, sorrow muffled
The melody of our life’s song.

Today, the weight of their brutality
Broke the murky surface
Of the lake of peace,
Sending disturbing ripples across the land
From the south, the west, the east and the north
We rose and with one voice

We say no to;
Shooting and killing of youths
Armed robbers in uniform
Retrogressive governance
Stealing of public funds by politicians.

We quail not before superior arrogance
We shrink not from guns, batons and tear gases
We flinch not at their threats
With steadfast foot, firm-hand, boldface
Dauntless heart, flaming zeal,

We march on, chant louder,
Under the rain, under the sun
Demanding for a change long overdue
God helping us,
We will survive all crushing difficulties
For a better country

God above all.

If the Lord is with me,
Who shall be against me?
If the Lord is for me
Whom shall I be afraid of?
If the peace of the Lord is upon me
Who shall ruffle my life?
No one. It’s God above all things.

If the Lord’s hand is upon me
What shall oust me?
If I take refuge beneath His wings,
What shall terrify me?
If I rest in His bosom
What shall rouse me?
If he is my strength and salvation
What shall attack me?
Nothing. It’s God above all things.

Victory

The yolk of hardship, He cast away.
The fetters of fear, He breaks asunder
The smear of shame, He wipes away.
The darkness of evil, He rolls away.
The Lord lightens my path
With His countenance
He strengthens me with love
He gives me victory overall.

I shall overcome

When my world spins on its axis
When the storms of life assail me
When distress becomes my companion
When fear torments and trouble vexes
When the heaviest grief burdens on me
If I make the Lord, my shield and buckler
I shall overcome.

When the world mocks and ridicules me
When  impenetrable walls
Of evil surround me on every side
When I tread upon dark and dire paths
If I make the Lord, my protector and defender
I shall overcome.

The eyes of the omniscience
Shall always be on me
In the heights and depths of my life
The Lord is my stronghold and foothold
For the Lord guards and guides me
I shall overcome.

A Land in deconsecration

In a land where so much evil ravaged our spirits
We die every day, unmourned
In a land where we went about with our lives in our hands
We die anyhow with no requiem
In a land where hypocrites with masks on their faces
Rant out silky speeches, and oily promises
We listened with enchanted wonder
Lost in the mazes of their soft and fawning lies
In a land where clowns wear crowns
We bear their jest with stoic forbearance
Their braggadocio blandishments with deafening silence

In a land where oppressors seek to destroy our spirits
Our Cheeks furrowed by the plough of anxiety
Our heart raptured by a dark providence that beclouded us
Our body captured by a powerful enemy that bestirred our land
This was not the time to dispense with vigilance
In a land where the crucible of adversity
Took away our humanity
Where the fangs of evil gnawed at us daily
Where the pangs of hunger bite with incessant
Where the stench of corruption was aromatised
Where the blood of the innocent flew unchecked
While we brawled and howled in our soldered spots.

In a land where they persecuted us from every side
With no justice to recourse
We watched with hollowed eyes
Mouths gagged with hopelessness
Hands tied with helplessnesses
While fear strung our hearts in a macabre dance.
But Change, a sure and steady journeyman
Is afoot to come to the rescue
In a land where truth had become obsolete
Where love had become desolate.

Elegy to coronavirus

Unbelievable and unpredicted
Like an uninvited and unwanted guest
It swooped down on the world
A health monster, vicious and relentless
Spreading viral deaths in its wake
The world quivered at the thrall of its gripe

Like an evil storm ravaging the earth
It drove men behind doors; scared
It brought all activities to a standstill
The world is in a lockdown combat
With an invisible and omnipotent foe
Its economy and social life completely shut down
In a helpless gesture to slay the COVID-19 disaster

Against the best scientist, the world could boast of
COVID-19 is still an enigma.
Against the best medical personnel and instrument
The world puts forward; it becomes pandemic,
The battle against COVID-19 is far from being won
Like a monster on the prowl
It snuffs out life with wanton impudence

If staying behind doors will keep us safe
Then, behind doors, we must huddle
And looked at the gloomy world
Through fear tinted glasses,
With a heart full of terror and panic,
As we wait out the siege,
And count the survivors

A lover’s whisper

How sweet and gentle, on a heart scourge, an emotion in tatters.

A lover’s whisper,

Whooshes like a cool breath, to release a feeling in the grip of fetters.

A lover’s whisper,

Rakes the ember of love to glow, quickens the heart to lofty heights.

A lover’s whisper,

Set a body to thrill, sad tear to dry, happy tear to sprout.

A lover’s whisper,

A sweet nothing that makes loin groans, and life blooms.

A lover’s whisper,

A sweet nothing that means everything to eyes drench with love.

No heart is beyond repair

As long as we learn to love,
As long as we share our love,
As long as we’re loved.
No heart is beyond repair.

As long as we give with love,
As long as we accept with love,
As long as loving is part of our gesture
No heart is beyond repair.

Love, a flower so exotic, yet so delicate
Love springs up in the morning new
Withers and dry in the evening,
if not tended.
No matter how wounded or broken,
Genuine love, when requited
No heart is beyond repair.

Love dissolves all fear
Love nourishes the soul
Love unites, love ignites
When Love feeds
on unfailing love,
No heart is beyond repair

True Love

Love is a beautiful feeling to have.
Love is a precious gift to share,
Love is a rare gem to treasure,
True love is a priceless jewel,
To be cherished forever.

Love is ageless and eternal,
Love brings glorious joy and peace,
Love brings endless laughter,
True love is very fragile,
To be handled with care.

True love blossoms,
Like the lily flower,
Its fragrance lingers forever.
True love is a special gift,
To be appreciated at all times.

 God’s Creatures

Gloomy and miserable

I open my window

To behold,

The sun bathing the earth

With glorious and golden rays.

The birds singing sweet melodies,

As they fly about the sky

I heard water gurgling in the creek

As it splashes over the rocks.

The green grass, dancing happily

To the gentle ministration of the breeze

As it moves serenely across the field.

The trees nodding and whispering

Cheerfully, in one accord,

To the sweet music of the wind.

As it whistles over the earth

All God’s creatures are

Happy and joyous

To the glory and honour

Of their creator.

Here I am, Man,

God’s greatest creation

In a slough of despond

I thought to myself,

Why can’t I join other creatures?

In their happiness and songs

Of praises to our creator

Nothing but grief

It ceased my life’s song.

Sons and daughters of tomorrow

You give birth to them
But they have their lives
They are with you now

But they belong not to you forever

You house their bodies

But their souls you cannot cage

They are sons and daughters of tomorrow.

Though you are entrusted to look after them

Force them not to look like you

Though they are in your care

Use them not carelessly

They are sons and daughters of tomorrow.

You, as instruments,

Through which they are sent forth

Starve them not of nourishment

Deny them not of attention

Deprive them not of affection,

Suppress not their little voices

Corrupt not their spirits and bodies

Abuse, not their privileges

They are sons and daughters of tomorrow.
